Exclusive: BenQ to manufacture upcoming Motorola VE538?

If the User Agent Profile of an unannounced Motorola phone is to be believed, then Qisda (a spin-off from BenQ) will be manufacturing the VE538 WCDMA phone. While the phone itself doesn’t boast of any specifications worth writing home about, the mere mention of Qisda as the vendor and not Motorola has caught our attention. It might not be the first instance of Motorola getting contract manufacturers or OEMs to manufacture their products; the same isn’t normally reflected in the User Agent Profile. Or is there something more to it than what meets the eye?
